In short
In FitMate.co you count calories from a photo and from a description for free — 4 photos and 4 descriptions a day — while in Fitatu those AI features come only with the Premium+AI plan. FitMate.co also has what we did not find in Fitatu: a workout log with sets, reps and weight, a workout plan and per-exercise progress charts. The free version of FitMate.co has no ads.
What you get for free
The free versions, side by side.
Feature comparison
Prices change often and depend on the store, so we do not compare them — check the App Store or Google Play for current prices.
Which one to pick
FitMate.co, if you
- want calories from a photo without a paid plan,
- train and want a plan, a set log and your diet in one app,
- want to see your progress in each exercise on a chart,
- want a weekly report that combines diet, workouts and steps,
- do not want ads on the free version.
Fitatu, if you
- do not lift, and care most about ready-made menus and intermittent fasting,
- need a web version.
